Game isn't for the faint of heart through. Unbeknownst to me my helions iron swan one shot the little dude on the first turn he basically AoE slaughtered my team. I remember the first time I reached the swine prince where you're suppose to ignore the little pig in the back or the main boss will just molest you. I haven't experimented a lot though, but generally a marking strategy is incredibly strong, especially for bosses. Not a big fan of the abomination, vestal, grave robber, jester or the leper (especially the leper). I really like using Arba/Hound/Bounty/Man at Arms(or Helion).

I generally try to focus on two basic parties at a time, eventually leveling up more parties so I can not only have reserve parties, but also to get some materials to further upgrade my town (especially the smith/guild).
